I’ve always had a love for the beauty of ‘wooden things’, both perfect, and especially those with their own unique imperfections.
Sometime in about 2006, my father asked if he could put a lathe in my garage… and that is how it all started. After watching him for many months, I realized this was not ‘just a phase’, and that the lathe and accumulating tools and supplies that were taking over, were here to stay. My father showed me and my brother how to use the tools and got us started. This is now where we most often spend time together, sharing new ideas and suggestions, and helping each other with our individual projects. Our styles and materials have mostly gone in different directions, but turning has remained a family pastime.
Hope you enjoy my works as much as I enjoy creating them.
